MULTI – ADVENTURE WEEK

A WEEK OF HILLWALKING

General Information
The week is designed for those that are generally fit, enjoy regular exercise and sporting activities. The routes are designed for complete day walking, finally comprising of a two day walk with an overninght stay at in a mountain shelter.
Activity Level
The level of difficultly of the journeys is medium to high. The level will be progressive, beginning with journeys at low level culminating in the crossing of the high mountain range. 
Essential Equipment
Trekking boots, rucksack -75 litres minimum, sleeping bag-mountain standard, protective clothing, waterproof, sunglasses, protective cream, water bottle, hat.

7 DAYS TREKS

Traveling east through the National Park of Sierra Nevada,  Alpujarras, the Desert of Tavernas in Almería to finish in the Natural Park beaches of Cabo de Gata (San José) in Almería. 
1st day Leaving from Dílar (Granada) going through the Dilar river towards the Trevenque area, and here to the ski  station of Pradollano in Sierra Nevada.
2nd day Leaving from Pradollano, towards the Capileira hill (3, 200 mts) and La Laguna de la Caldera, Mulhacén and going down to Trevélez (the highest village of the Peninsula, more than 1.650 mts), famous for ham and trout.
3rd day Leaving from Trevélez, going though the whole Alpujarra Grenadine, sleeping in the Puerto de la Ragua or in Laroles.
4th day We leave El Puerto de la Ragua to go into the Alpujarra Almeriense, to spent the nigths in the typical village of Ohanes.
5th day Leaving Ohanes, we  go toward the Tavernas Desert, (famous for the western movies), we spend the night in Tavernas.
6th day we continue from Tavernas, toward the beautiful town  of Nijar in Almería, very famous for its crafts, in particular rugs and baskets, the land is this area is also quite arid.
7th day from Nijar we ride towards Cabo de Gata, where we can bathe on the unspoilt beaches of San José, Monsul and Genoveses.
Conditions and characteristics (7 days treks)
The trek goes through many  rivers, hill, mountains,  paths, areas with abundant vegetation,  deserts beaches, etc. covering a total of approximately 175 kilometres. The horses travel slowly and carefully over difficult terrain. We generally ride 5 or 6 hours a day. After the lunch the afternoon will be free, and we can have a rest. The itineraries may be modified, for whatever reason. Appropiate clothing should be worn (riding boots, hat, suncream) according to the  time of year and weather. The price includes, room and  fullboard except for the first day. (only lunch and dinner) and the 7th day (breakfast and lunch), and the ride es supported by a back-up vehicle at each stop.

3 DAYS TREKS

Leaving from Dilar, (village with  1.300 inhabitants and 12 km far from), on the way to Alayos and Dehesa de Dúrcal, to return to the basin of the Dilar river, refuge Rosales (1600mts), we continue through the Tejo hill to 2000 mts. To go into in the municipal term of Monachil, Central de Diechar, El Purche and Monachil, from here through the Cerro Huenes, Ramblas del Trevenque, return to Dilar. Practically the whole route is in the National Park and Natural Park of Sierra Nevada.
Accomodations: 
1st Night, Rosales Refuge  (sleeping bag).
2ª Night, Room with bathroom (rural house,  hotel or similar)
Pension:
1st day Lunch and Dinner.  
2nd day Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.  
3rd day Breakfast and Lunch. 
The route will be carried out with group of five people minimum, in cases  of groups of four people will have 20% of increased value.

ESPECIAL VOYAGE 7 DAYS: SPECIAL HILL GROUP OF SIERRA NEVADA 

Itinerary: Leaving Dílar town and in the  opposite way of the needles clock, we will go surrounding the hill group of Sierra Nevada, until the altitude that the snow allows us, we will go from west (Dílar, Towns of the Valle de Lecrín) to south (Lanjarón, Alpujarras, etc) to finish on the top Puero de la Ragua (east) altitude: more than 2000 mts, going to the north face (area of Jerez del Marquesado, Alquife, etc.). From here we will return to the west face with a view to Granada city. The whole route is in the National Park and Natural Park of Sierra Nevada.
Accomodation: The accomodation will be made with a very nice combination farms of this area, rural houses, rural or similar hotels.Pension: 
1st day to the 6th day breakfast, lunch and dinner.
7th day breakfast, lunch and a goodbye drink.
General conditions:
Meal, we will combine typical and traditional foods of the area with foods of restaurants.
A car is included daily to support in the stop areas minimum.
Because of the altitude of this route, modifications can be made. Also because of the bad weather.
Appropiate clothes to ride, we have to thing about our weather and the dates, to be possible boots, hat, sunmilk, etc. also good clothes for the bad weather.
